Book Club
Book Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month for a book discussion. The group gathers at 10:30 am for snacks and fellowship, and discussion begins at 11:00 am.
Memories/Caregivers' Day Out
An outreach ministry of WPC that provides a meeting place for adults with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's disease or related dementias while offering respite for their caregivers. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of every month from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM and combine socialization, exercise, music, and other memory-stimulating activities in a safe and comfortable environment.
Breakfast At The Bridge
Westminster provides volunteers to serve breakfast at the Stewpot’s Second Chance Café at the Bridge in Downtown Dallas on the first Saturday morning of each month. Volunteers usually meet at the church at 7:00 AM, and Mike Stanley sends a reminder via email.
Austin Street Shelter
Help prepare and serve dinner for 400+ homeless people every 3rd Saturday of each month. Volunteers, age 10 and above, are needed to serve. We usually meet at the church between 4:00 and 4:30 PM to load the food and supplies, and the meal begins at 6:00 PM.
